Summary

 

Corporate Social Responsibility is the relationship between the business organizations and the society. With specific reference to the prevailing situation of the pandemic which has impacted all the nations, the companies have come forward to provide for aid even beyond their set CSR budget. Not only that the companies have come up with various innovative measures like change in the logo, tagline or advertisements to promote the precautionary measures pertaining to the virus. This paper will discuss in detail about what is corporate social responsibility, its history, the laws pertaining to corporate social responsibility and how companies have come forward during this critical time of pandemic when the socio-economic circumstances of all the nations are not good.
